Meet with our representative at the airport and transfer to the coastal town of Durres. Durres is the biggest seaport of the country. It is the most ancient city in Albania, with almost 3000 years of history.
Welcome Dinner fresh seafood and local wines by the sea. Free overnight, at the hotel, in the beach area or city centre. End of the day.
Morning starts with transfer to the farm.
Visiting farm in Lezha District –a family managed this small farm with cows and production of cheese. Milking, feeding the cows and starting to get involved in the cheese making procedures.
Transfer for a traditional lunch to a bio-restaurant, in the Fishte village.
Directly you can notice the fresh air and panoramic quiet view the village offers. This is one of the point in the Albanian Culinary. The family who managed restaurant, provide only bio traditional food which prepared with creativity an innovative ways. While you consume and enjoy the wonderful view that this village offers you can walk to get the best of this village area.
Kruja is a small characteristic town landed on a hill, center of Albanian resistance against the Ottoman Turkish under our national hero Scanderbeg. He kept them from passing into Western Europe for 25 years, hereby earning the title “Champion of Christ” given by the Pope of the time. We will visit the Castle of Kruja, a very rich Ethnographic Museum placed on an original house of the 17th century and the Old Bazaar of handmade souvenirs. Dinner and overnight in Kruja.
After breakfast we drive to a local snail farm. We visit the farm and see how the daily farm work are done.
Later we can enjoy some grilled snails and local drinks in the garden area!
In the afternoon we drive to the coastal city of Vlora where we can take a short city tour or a relaxing walk by the beach promenade.
Dinner and overnight in Vlora.
After breakfast we depart from Saranda and transfer to the local farm in Xarre (a village near Saranda)
During the day we visit the farm. The Xarre area is famous for production of tangerines and olives. You will be guided in the tangerine fields. Enjoy a tangerine, picking experience and degustation from this farm, then continue our walk to see the olive trees.
Transfer to the Archaeological Site of Butrint where we stop for lunch in local restaurant.
After lunch we visit the ancient city of Butrint, an UNESCO world heritage site.Probably inhabited since prehistoric times, Buthrotum was a city of the Epirote tribe of the Chaonians, later a Roman colony and an episcopate. It fell into Late Antiquity, before being abandoned during the Middle Ages after a major earthquake flooded most of the city. Located in a beautiful peninsula among dense vegetation, offering visitors more than just old ruins.
In the afternoon transfer to Gjirokastra.
Gjirokastra, another UNESCO site and museum town with beautiful and very specific architecture.
The town of Gjirokastra is located on the side of the Broad Mountain, on its northeastern slopes and on the left bank of the Drino River valley and is known for its characteristic and small coble stone streets. The dwelling houses have the form of medieval towers consisting of a complex building with characteristic architecture. in the 15th century the city was surrounded by the Ottoman Turkish army, but like many other cities began to flourish and make their own rules. in the 17th century the town had about 2000 houses and was a revitalized trading town. Now has over 500 historic buildings.
The castle is in the hilltop overlooking the city. You can enjoy beautiful landscape.

Morning transfer to Berat
While arriving in this old UNESCO town we head for lunch in local restaurant in Berat, located by the old town, in a traditional style building, serving traditional menu.
Further we will visit a local farm. Drive is about 10 minutes to reach a small village of the town; where will meet the locals, visit the figs fields, grapes and olives. You can get involved in picking the figs, packing, or even inserting the sugar for jam or dried figs.
In the village you can see the olives area or look the vineyards.
Further we close our afternoon with a Winery visit and taste some wine. You can taste the wine in a local factory and in the meantime you can also see the grape vineyards.
Dinner at the hotel and overnight in Berat.
Early in the morning we can take a sightseeing of Berat.
Berat forms a unique combination of eastern and western cultures, costumes and traditions. The architecture of the old houses, with large windows, is the first think that impresses the visitors. First stop: the Citadel. The castle can be reached by a scarp road and is still inhabited. You can visit ruined mosques and several medieval Orthodox churches, all untouched and with restored frescoes and icons.
Later on transfer for our farm visit in a village near Durres.
This is a fruits and vegetables farm and you can get see the daily jobs in the farm like: sowing vegetables, picking fruits and herbs ect.
Lunch will be organised in a bio resort. In the late afternoon you can decide whether to spend time in the resort, including walking, feeding the animals or getting involved in the daily farm jobs; or have a walking tour of the city, to see the foremost attractions of the centre.
Dinner in a local restaurant. Overnight in Tirana.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for return flight. Along the way we stop for lunch in an agrotourist site, including farm visit & wine tasting, with fresh bio foods menu.
